Reaping Honors
Although Starr's own post-high school education had been, for the most part, rather unconventional, he did encourage many young persons, sponsoring them, and closely following their achievements.
In 1955, an honorary Doctor of Laws degree was conferred on C.V. Starr at Middlebury College in Middlebury, Vermont.
