One of the most moving arias in the opera, "Still In Their Chains," comes in Act III and is sung by Frederick Douglass himself.
Kevin Maynor performed this aria, accompanied on the piano by Tuffus Zimbabwe, during the first of The Green Space's series of programs entitled "Emancipation 150." His performance begins at 44 minutes into the program:
