Ulysses Kay: Twentieth Century Composer

Kay's "Organ Suite" written in three movements was commissioned by organist Marilyn Mason. She gave the premier of the work on December 20, 1958, in New York's St. Paul's Chapel, Trinity Parish.

It was chosen by Dr. Herman Taylor to open the dedicatory recital for the new Schantz organ of the Abyssinian Baptist Church, given on November 12, 1978.
