New York Real Estate Brochures > New York Real Estate Brochures

The New York Real Estate (NYRE) Brochure Collection constitutes an invaluable resource for researching New York City architecture. The collection consists of over 9,200 items--including advertising brochures, floor plans, price lists, and related materials--that document residential and commercial real estate development in the five boroughs of New York and outlying vicinities. Ranging from the 1920s to the 1970s, these materials provide names of architects and agents, illustrate interior and exterior views of buildings, display typical floor plans, and list prominent features of the buildings. The New York Real Estate Brochure Collection is comprised of several collections that were donated to the Avery Library. The first material to be digitized was donated by Yale and Henry Robbins and David Magier.
